Advanced Training Program (ATP)
The St. James Advance Training Program (ATP) is an application/ invitation based program that provides dedicated and high level players with a comprehensive, small group training program that addresses technical, tactical and physical training in a year-round programming model. For players age U9-U19.
Players can apply for free by using the registration link below. Players will also need to submit their two most recent match videos to Nenad Babic- Assistant Director of Soccer at: nenad.babic@thestjames.com
Technical/ Tactical Training
In the ATP, The St. James Staff will create training groups based on like ability level players and developmental needs. Technical development will be appropriate to the needs of the group.
Training sessions will combine technical training as well as small group tactics training to apply the skills being developed.
Player Analysis
The St. James coaching staff will provide video analysis utilizing our Tactics Pro system each season to identify areas of improvement as well as areas of continued development through the video analysis process.
Video Analysis will be completed at the start of each seasons training as part of a comprehensive player review and goal setting.
Performance Training
Players will receive performance training assessments at the start of the program and additional testing will be completed at the end of each season. This testing will provide participants with objective physical performance data with areas of improvement based on their individual or positional need. Performance training with the STJ High Performance Staff will be incorporated into the training during the Winter season.
